The State Parks Tour: Land, Sea, and Archeology!

Experience Delaware State Parks like never before!  This 2 hour cruise will be hosted by three Delaware State Parks staff from Cape Henlopen State Park, Delaware Seashore State Park, and the Cultural Resource & Archaeology office. What are those coastal towers, where did coin beach get its name, and who were the first inhabitants of the area? Find out the answers to these questions and more while you cruise along the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal. Learn how Cape Henlopen and Delaware Seashore came to be, why these parks were set aside as public land, and how park staff across the state are working to protect coastal Delaware’s valuable natural and cultural resources. With the unique wildlife and rich history this a must for anyone in the area!

The Delaware State Park Cruise will operate on Fridays at 2:00 pm from our dock at Anglers Road.  This trip begins on June 22.
