Quick Details
We have visitors from the north! Learn more from our friends at the MERR Institute on this NARRATED tour as we cruise out into the Delaware Bay to safely and respectfully observe harbour and gray seals. They can be seen locally during the colder months resting on the inner and outer breakwater walls of our bay. At their peak, sometimes a colony of 50-75+ seals have been seen all together in our area. Some have even given birth while “vacationing” here! We should also see winter birds. Bring binoculars and your fancy camera if you have one.
Cape Water Tours will donate $2 per guest to MERR for research and rescue. Since our seal watching tours are offered during the winter months, please plan to be extra flexible in the event of a weather cancellation. We always offer the option to reschedule or receive a refund if we have to cancel.
